Welcome to Gregory Funding. We are so happy you are here! We understand how a transfer of your mortgage loan can be stressful, so we are here to assist you through the process and provide you information to make your transition a breeze.

Why was my mortgage transferred to Gregory?

The owner of your mortgage retained Gregory Funding to service it. This often happens when a loan is sold to a new owner. After a mortgage is originated, it may be sold several times before it is paid off.

The terms of your mortgage are unchanged. Aside from being assigned a new loan number, nothing about your mortgage will change as a result of the transfer of servicing. You will, of course, now make your payments to Gregory Funding.

Who is Gregory?

You can learn more about us at GregoryFunding.com. The Gregory team will work diligently to make your experience with us simple, stress-free, and rewarding every step of the way. We want to empower you with easy access to the information you may need.

What can I expect in the first 60 days of my transfer?

We'll work hard to ensure your account history picks up exactly where you left off with your prior servicer. Pursuant to federal law, for the first 60 days, you will not be assessed a late charge if you make a timely payment to your prior servicer. After we have thoroughly reviewed your account (usually within 10 days of your service transfer date), we will send you a welcome packet that includes a debt validation letter that includes information about the amount of your debt, when to pay it, and how to dispute it. If something doesn’t seem right, we are here to help! Contact us if you'd like to research your account history to ensure our records are correct.

Will I get a new Gregory loan number?

Yes. You can find your Gregory loan number in the hello letter we send you after your transfer date. (See an example here).

How do I activate my Gregory online account?

Approximately 10 days after your transfer date, you can register online after which you'll be able to view your account information and billing statements. You can make payments online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Click here to get started today! You can use either your loan number with your prior servicer or your new Gregory loan number to begin the registration process.

I just made my payment to my prior servicer. What will happen to my payment?

Good news - your prior servicer will forward the payment to Gregory. Even if we haven't received that payment from the prior servicer, you must continue to make your scheduled monthly payments. (Timely payments to your prior servicer will not be assessed a late charge during the first 60 days after transfer.) We will keep your account up to date and accurate.

I was set up for Autopay with my previous servicer. Will my Autopay information transfer automatically?

No. You'll have to set up Autopay with Gregory. Click here to learn how to set up recurring payments.

I currently have my statements sent electronically. How do I enable paperless communications?

Does Gregory offer payment assistance options?

Yes. If you have been struggling with your monthly payments, we can discuss several options available which may be available to you. Our goal is to get you back on track.

If I have an escrow account, will it transfer?

Yes. We will review your escrow account within the first 60 days of acquiring your loan to ensure there will always be enough money in the account to pay your taxes or insurance on time. We will send you an escrow disclosure statement which includes all of the information you will need. If you have questions upon receipt of that notice, our customer service agents are here to assist you! For helpful information about escrows in general, click here.

How do I notify my Homeowners Insurance provider to send insurance information to Gregory?

It is very important that you let your homeowners insurance provider know that your loan has a new servicer. The carrier must update the mortgagee clause on the declaration page to read as follows:

Gregory Funding LLC

ISAOA/ATIMA

PO BOX 692402

San Antonio, TX 78269-2402

This update ensures that your insurance provider will know where to send proof of coverage, invoices, and claim proceeds. For more information about insurance, please click here.

Once again, welcome to Gregory Funding! We look forward to working with you!
